New exhaust

Hi all

I'm in the process of putting in a new exhaust. The previous owner welded several parts together, so I will have to replace all of it.
The nuts are of course very rusty, so block wrench somewhere between 12mm and 13mm kind of fits, but mostly I destroy them in the process, which leads to the prospect of replacing the stud bolts. Here is a link to them. https://bus-ok.nl/T25-Stud-bolt-exhaust ... 0-N0444115
I also found similar on eBay.

Which ones are "correct"?
Is it even possible to swap them?

Because I don't want to ruin the whole motorblock.
Shold I go with stainless? I think some kits have brass nuts or whatever they are.

I had to cut the pipe in order to even have a chance of getting some nuts off.

Ich bin gerade dabei, einen neuen Auspuff einzubauen. Der Vorbesitzer hat mehrere Teile zusammengeschweißt, so dass ich alles ersetzen muss.

Ich möchte nämlich nicht den ganzen Motorblock ruinieren.
Soll ich Edelstahl nehmen? Ich glaube, einige Kits haben Messingmuttern oder was auch immer sie sind.

Ich musste das Rohr aufschneiden, um überhaupt eine Chance zu haben, einige Muttern abzubekommen.

Hi,
You should stick with black Steel studs, they are stronger than stainless Steel, also less corrosion in the cylinder head cast alloy Material.
Do Not use brass nuts they are not strong enough at high temperature. Use copper nuts instead, they do Not corrode withbthe black Steel studs.

I've gotten the old exhaust off by now. One stud broke off. Should I replace them all? I'm afraid more will break trying to remove them, but also reluctant to mount the new exhaust with the old studs. Thoughts?

If the thread is ok then let them be. Use the correct torque when fastening.

Slow progress. Drilling out the broken stud. Will continue using taps hopefully until reaching the original threads.

Langsamer Fortschritt. Ich habe den abgebrochenen Bolzen aufgebohrt. Ich werde weiterhin Gewindebohrer verwenden, bis ich hoffentlich die ursprünglichen Gewinde erreiche.
